pokerCome out every Monday at 7pm and 9:30pm to join the Free Texas Hold-Em Poker League.

This is an independent poker league.  The game follows the rules of the WSOP.  Each player will receive $10,000 in chips.  There will be 2 games each night.  Each game is designed to run for 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours.

PRIZES:

  • 1st Place: $50 in cash
  • 2nd Place: $25 Gift Certificate to Lion & Bull
  • 3rd Place: $10 Gift Certificate to Lion & Bull
  • Royal Flush Progressive Jackpot:  A player who has a Royal Flush will win the Progressive Jackpot.  The jackpot starts at $10 and raises $10 per week until a player gets a Royal Flush.  Caveats:  the hand must be played through to a showdown.  You must have two out of the 5 cards that make a Royal Flush must be in your hand to win the Jackpot
  • We will also host a quarterly season final.  The top 10 players will receive cash or a gift card with 1st place receiving $300 in cash.   Points are accumulated throughout the season with the top 14 receiving extra starting chips for our quarterly tournament.  In addition the top 3 players in points at the end of each current season will receive a cash prize.  Bonus cards may not be used in the tournament.

BONUS CHIPS:

  • Players who sign up for the 1st game before 6:40 will receive two cards worth an extra $1,000 chip as a bonus. A player may use up to two of these cards per game.
  • Any existing player who brings a new player to the tables will receive an extra $5,000 chip at the start of the game.
  • Quads: if after a showdown and with both cards in their hand playing a player ends up with quads that player will receive extra chips worth 5 times the current big blind.
  • Straight Flush:  if after a showdown and with both cards in their hand playing a player ends up with a straight flush that player will receive extra chips worth 10 times the current big blind.  A Royal Flush will not receive extra chips as that player will win our progressive jackpot outlined above.
  • Beat the Poker Director will played sometime after the first chip up.  The game will consist of a special “funny” Texas hod-em hand where two cards are dealt face up to every player at the table including the Poker Director.  Players do not bet any of their chips and can not lose chips during this time.   Any player who beats the Poker Director cards will receive an extra $3,000 in chip .  The player with the best hand will win an extra $5,000 chip.  Pocket pairs automatically win against the dealer and will be payed regardless of wether or not the dealer beats their hand.  Two or more players must win against the dealer otherwise the game is played again.  In the event that only one player wins against the dealer, that player will be given and extra $3,000 and the game will be played again.
